MoreCrusher Joe (Japanese: クラッシャージョウ Hepburn: Kurasshā Jō) is a series of science fiction light novels by Haruka Takachiho and released by Asahi Sonorama from 1977 to 2005. Crusher Joe was made into an animated film in 1983. The animation is quite good for the time. The first thing you’ll notice is the pretty painted backdrops.
MoreCrusher Joe is meant for the smart and adventurous audience, male and female, and even though it is a "cartoon" it's not meant for young viewers, but mature teen and older. Again, kind of an interesting trip down memory lane, and somewhat refreshing if ever so mildly dated.
